Geordies too scared to see a doctor over dementia fears, says Alzheimer's Society
Over half of people in the North East are avoiding seeking a dementia diagnosis for up to a year or more, it has been revealed. A study carried out by Alzheimer's Society has found that 62 per-cent of people in the region had dodged seeking medical help.
