Dementia: Causes and Symptoms

There are several reasons of Dementia to become so common these days in our society. It’s basically a mental situation, which we face now days due to tough routine and busy life. This is the situation, which leads an individual towards mental sickness. Dementia is basically a deficiency, which affects human capabilities to think, learn and make decision over a period of time and it gets very difficult for that person to perform his routine activities. There are many reasons, which lead an individual towards mental illness; this may include stress on the job, heavy dosage medication and usage of drugs/alcohol.

Dementia is not basically a disease itself; rather it’s a combination of symptoms that may be related to reduce the capabilities to think. There is one most common disease, which causes Dementia in Human Beings called Alzheimer’s disease. There is another type of Dementia, which is referred as “Vascular Dementia”, this type of dementia occurs after a severe stroke.

There are few other reasons, which lead towards Dementia; if an individual had a severe brain injury and if this injury cause temporary reduction in the flow of blood or oxygen towards the brain. Depression, agitation and aggression are also one of the reasons, which cause Dementia among individuals. There are many symptoms of Dementia, which act as indications to take preventive measures on time. These symptoms include Loss of memory, Feeling difficulty while communicating and Learning, perception disabilities and anxiety.

Dementia may get into the worse conditions if not cured properly and timely as well, so it is too important to treat this on time, so that you or your loved ones stay safe.
